Monash Exam Parking at Caufield Racecourse...
A little bit angry about having to pay $6 a day for parking at your exam venue
this year at Caufield Racecourse?
Monash student unions from Clayton, Caufield, Berwick and Parkville are making a
combined effort to rally against this unfair fee that has never been imposed on
us before. Not only do we have enough stress to worry about with exams, now we
have to pay for our parking? Not only that…but $6? That means remembering to
bring $6 in poo change for the fee (and will they even take 5 cent coins?!?!)
All we can do right now is sign the petition and ask for no fees or reduced fees
for the people who drive. Even if you don’t drive to the exams, do it for your
friends who do.
Takes about 4 secs, just enter a few details and you will have helped make a
difference!

Welcome Ball Final update Yes we did sell out the 200 tickets. No joke. However, because many important people still haven't been able to get their hands on a ticket, we are raising the limit from 200 to 250 people. Get them early Thursday morning before they sell out again. Also, this event is not actually a ball so you don't need to come in full formal. It's more like a cocktail party
Dress code: Stylish cocktail

Second Hand Booksale Money Collection
Firstly, thank you to everyone who participated in the booksale, and hope most of you got what you wanted.
Secondly, Happy Labour Day Weekend, and MPSA loves you.
Booksale money can be collected this week starting Monday 12th March, from Stephanie or Melissa, whom will be in the MPSA room as often as possible. Your money will be placed in an envelope if you successfully sold your book(s)
If you were unsuccessful in selling your book, then you can have your name marked off our list, and collect your book. Unfortunately, many of the unsold books WERE calculus books. Maybe try selling them to studious people doing Specialist Maths in Yr12.
Also beginning monday, will be the sale of Orientation Camp tickets. It's a pretty quick selling event, so sell your APF to raise funds and buy a ticket.

MPSA very much awaited SECOND HAND BOOKSALE!
The generous souls of MPSA run this non-profit service to all students on campus.
On the afternoon 8th of March (Thursday), MPSA will run the annual booksale in Cossar Hall. This is a very much coveted service, so don’t forget to bring money (in the form of cash) and be early!
Students who wish to sell books are to come to Cossar Hall Tute Room 2 on Wednesday between 9-12:30 to hand in books. They are required to fill out a form with their name, contact number, year lvl the book is for and the price they want to sell the book for. Forms can be found outside the MPSA room.
Unsold books collection and monies can be collected the week of 19th March 2007 till 23rd March. If you don’t come them, MPSA reserves the right to keep any monies and books (except for fourth years who will be on APES?)
Students who wish to buy books are to come to Cossar Hall on Thursday between hours 12-2pm. CommUNIty Card Holders will have VIP entry into Cossar Hall. All sales must be in cash and note that it is limited entry of 10 people each rotation.
Judging from previous booksales, it should be noted that books do sell very quickly so don’t dally!
More details such as times etc. will be on posters so watch out for them!
Love MPSA
